FAQs

WEEE Recycling in the Midlands — your questions

How much does WEEE recycling cost in the Midlands?
As a guide: single items from £25, a small business load from £150, and data destruction from £10 per drive. Larger site clearances are surveyed and quoted free — and recoverable value in the equipment is offset against your price.
What counts as WEEE?
Anything with a plug, a battery or a circuit board — from kettles and monitors to servers, medical devices and lab equipment. If in doubt, send a photo and we will confirm.
Do you provide WEEE evidence notes?
Yes. Evidence notes, waste transfer notes and tonnage reporting are issued as standard, which is what your compliance or ESG file needs.
What happens to data on the equipment?
Data-bearing items are tracked separately and either wiped to standard or physically destroyed, with serial numbers recorded. Reused equipment is never passed on with data intact.
Can equipment be reused rather than shredded?
Where it is safe and lawful, yes — reuse sits above recycling in the waste hierarchy, and working equipment can be refurbished or donated once data is destroyed.

Ready when you are. Often the same day.
